Katharina is an intellectual property and business attorney. As an Associate Attorney with Trusted Counsel, Katharina focuses her practice on corporate transactions involving intellectual property. Her practice involves drafting operating and shareholder agreements, transaction documents for purchase and sale of corporate assets, intellectual property license agreements, as well as entity organization.
Katharina has experience advising clients on a wide range of intellectual property, artistic, entertainment, non-profit and corporate issues, including protection of intellectual property rights of singers, producers, songwriters, musicians, clothing designers, and businesses to ensure continued success of their brands, copyrights, and trademarks. She created and implemented the Georgia Lawyers for the Arts Mediation Program, resulting in affordable alternative dispute resolution services to Georgia’s non-profit organizations and low-income artists. Katharina also has extensive experience in providing legal counsel on employment, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), commercial transactions, contractual obligations, and corporate governance issues.
Katharina graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in psychology and earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school she studied abroad in London at the Southwestern Law School where she focused on international entertainment law and comparative media law.
Katharina lives in Brookhaven and is engaged to her partner. She enjoys competing in CrossFit and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.
