BRIGID C. DOUGLASS
Brigid is a corporate paralegal. In that role with Trusted Counsel, Brigid focuses on providing administrative and legal support to the firm’s partners and attorneys. Her responsibilities include aiding attorneys with the preparation of corporate documents and materials; working directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions; drafting audit letters; assisting with Federal and State securities filings; preparing and conducting UCC filings and searches; serving as liaison with the Internal Revenue Service and other government offices; as well as assisting with trademark filings and estate planning matters.
Brigid previously worked as a Corporate Paralegal at a progressive business law firm in Atlanta. From start-up to succession planning, Brigid provided support to assist clients in all phases of the corporate life cycle. Prior to that, she served as a legal assistant in several law firms in Memphis, Tenn.
Brigid graduated from Rhodes College, in Memphis, with a B.A. in music. She also studied abroad at Oxford and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Austria.
Brigid lives in Marietta with her husband and four pets. She enjoys traveling, hiking and camping as well as cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves during baseball season.
